Eligibility: OfficePools “Men’s Curling Pick’em Challenge” (the “Pick’em Contest”) is open to legal residents of Canada who are eighteen (18) years of age or older, except that you must be nineteen (19) years of age or older if you live in British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Ontario, PEI, Saskatchewan or Yukon; and legal residents of the United States (excluding all U.S. territories, including but not limited to Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico) who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older. Sponsor (as defined below), its subsidiaries and affiliates, and any other companies or agencies associated with this Contest are collectively referred to herein as the “Contest Entities.” Employees of the Contest Entities and their immediate family members (defined as parents, parents-in-law, children, siblings, and spouses (including common law), regardless of where they reside) are not eligible to enter the Contest or win Contest prizes. Any other persons with whom such employees are domiciled are also not eligible to join the Contest or win prizes. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
Tournament (National Men’s Curling Championship): As used herein, “Tournament” means the ten days of curling put on by the Canadian Curling Association (Curling Canada). The event will feature 18 teams split into two pools of nine, seeded based on their final standing on the Canadian Team Ranking System (CTRS). The teams play a complete eight-game round-robin. The top three teams in each pool (instead of the top four) advance to an expanded playoff field—the second-and third-ranked teams in each pool crossover to play in Page playoff qualifier games. The winners advance to play the winners of Pool A and Pool B. The winners of those games go to the Page 1v2 game, while the losers will compete in the Page 3v4 game. The standard page playoffs commence with the winner of the Page 1v2 game advancing directly to the final, and the loser plays the winner of the Page 3v4 game in the semifinal.
The semifinal winner takes on the winner of the Page 1v2 game in the final.
